BoviSync Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Dairy LLC DBA BoviSync (“BoviSync,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit our websites, use our mobile applications, use our web applications, contact us, interact with support, or use BoviSync services.
This Privacy Policy covers personal information, website information, product telemetry, support information, cookies, analytics, and chatbot interactions. Farm Data rights for logged-in BoviSync product use are governed primarily by the BoviSync End User License Agreement.
Plain-English Summary
Your Farm Data belongs to your farm. Farm Data ownership and use are described in the BoviSync End User License Agreement. Farm Data includes farm and herd operational data, imported data, calculated values, reports, scores, analytics, alerts, recommendations, and farm-attributable outputs.
This Privacy Policy explains personal information and product data practices. It covers things like your name, email, login information, cookies, device information, support messages, product telemetry, and chatbot interactions.
We use information to provide and improve BoviSync. This includes operating the website and app, supporting customers, securing accounts, fixing bugs, improving navigation, and communicating with users.
We do not sell Farm Data. We do not sell, license, assign, transfer, or commercialize Farm Data as a standalone dataset.
We use telemetry to improve the product. We may collect usage, error, performance, click, device, browser, app-version, and session information. We use commercially reasonable efforts not to intentionally include Farm Data in general product telemetry.
We may review chatbot interactions. We may review chats to improve assistant quality, diagnose errors, measure usefulness, and improve help content. If Farm Data is entered into a chat, it remains protected as Farm Data under the EULA.
Business transactions do not turn Farm Data into a standalone asset for sale. Farm-level data may not be disclosed in transaction diligence without the affected Farm’s written consent, except where redacted, de-identified, or aggregated and subject to confidentiality, no-use, and no-reidentification restrictions.

- BoviSync may use Farm Data only as allowed by the EULA;

How We Share Information
We may share information as described below.
With Authorized Users and Farm-Approved Third Parties
We may share Farm Data and account information according to Farm account permissions, admin settings, integrations, API authorizations, or written instructions.
A Farm may authorize employees, consultants, veterinarians, nutritionists, DHIA organizations, processors, advisors, service providers, software integrations, API users, and other third parties to access its Farm Data.
With Service Providers
We may share information with Service Providers that help us operate, host, support, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, audit, or improve BoviSync.
Service Providers may include hosting providers, infrastructure providers, customer support tools, analytics providers, error-monitoring providers, payment processors, email providers, security vendors, contractors, consultants, and AI providers.
Service Providers that access Farm Data must be bound by confidentiality, restricted-use, security, and no-reidentification obligations at least as protective as the EULA.
For Legal Compliance and Protection
We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, regulation, or other valid legal process.
Unless legally prohibited, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to notify the affected Farm before disclosing Farm Data so the Farm may seek protection or limit disclosure.
We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, prevent fraud, investigate misuse, or enforce agreements.
Business Transactions
If BoviSync is involved in a financing, investment, merger, acquisition, sale of assets, reorganization, recapitalization, conversion, or similar transaction, we may disclose information reasonably necessary to evaluate or complete the transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and restricted-use obligations.
We will not disclose farm-level Farm Data to a prospective purchaser, merger partner, financing source, strategic investor, lender, advisor, or other transaction party without the affected Farm’s written consent, except where the information is redacted, de-identified, or aggregated so that the Farm cannot reasonably be identified, singled out, re-identified, or reconstructed.
BoviSync will not sell, transfer, or exclusively license Farm Data as a standalone asset class. Any successor, buyer, surviving company, or acquirer of BoviSync must assume the Farm Data obligations in the EULA in writing.
De-Identified Aggregated Data
We may create and use De-Identified Aggregated Data for benchmarking, product development, research, quality control, analytics improvement, system monitoring, and platform improvement.
We may not use or disclose De-Identified Aggregated Data in a way that reasonably identifies, re-identifies, singles out, or reconstructs any Farm, Farm user, employee, animal owner, or natural person.
Marketing Communications
We may send marketing communications if permitted by law or with your consent where required.
You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the email or contacting us at support@bovisync.com.
Even if you opt out of marketing communications, we may still send transactional, administrative, security, billing, support, or service-related messages.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide BoviSync, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, enforce agreements, support accounting and audit requirements, and operate the business.
Farm Data export, retention, and deletion rights are governed by the EULA.
BoviSync may retain Farm Data after termination only as reasonably necessary for backups, legal compliance, security, dispute resolution, audit logs, fraud prevention, accounting, support records, or system integrity. Retained Farm Data remains protected by the EULA.

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
No system is perfectly secure. Customers and users are responsible for maintaining secure passwords, user permissions, devices, local networks, and third-party access.
Children
BoviSync is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
